How to make knots on the sides of shirt - Cut ties on side of sweatshirt - Easy DIY sweater refashion

This is my favourite way to cinch a sweatshirt at the waist. I cropped this sweater a few years ago, but didn't like the unfinished look of the bottom. With just a few snips of the scissors, you can create knots on each side.

This cinches it in at the waist and also gives the look of a sweater that is tucked in, without the bulk of actually tucking it. Super easy, takes less than fives minutes, and makes the shirt more flattering!

Try it out on any sweatshirt or tshirt, and you will love the new tighter waist.
