Cut the bottom off a baby onesie - Make a onesie into a sweater when its too small - Upcycle baby clothes when they get too small
I recently became an aunt which has opened up a whole new world of upcycling clothing. I have learned that babies grow out of their clothing very quickly, which means a lot of clothing that needs to be repurposed in some way! And because their clothes can have a lot of sentimental value, its nice to be able to reuse them in some way.
I cut the bottom off of this cute onesie to make it into a sweater. It folds up nicely to put into a baby bag or bring to the park in case it gets cold. And since it was given to her as a gift because of my brother's favourite baseball team, he is excited that she will still be able to wear it.
Do you have any upcycling ideas for baby clothing? I can't wait to try out some more ways to reuse them. And I have a new playlist on Youtube on how to make baby clothing larger as they grow, including how to make them longer and wider.
Give longer life to clothing and help reuse clothing that doesn't fit anymore. For the cutest people!
